If you're looking for a convenient location to stay near various attractions, Hayden Creek Inn is a great choice. It is situated next to the lake, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy the waterfront. Additionally, if you're attending the Dreams Park tournament or interested in exploring literature or opera, this hotel is in close proximity to these activities. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The friendly owners offer a delicious breakfast and the back garden offers a peaceful view of the creek.
The coffee served at the hotel leaves much to be desired.

We loved staying at this hotel! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and convenient, with a great selection of store-bought items, coffee, cereal. The rooms were very comfortable, providing a cozy space to come back to after a day exploring nearby Cooperstown. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel right at home. Austin, the innkeeper, was the highlight of our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We truly felt like we had found our home away from home here.
The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit small, but considering this is an older inn, it was to be expected. We didn't mind though, as the rest of the hotel made up for it.

The B&B is conveniently located just 10 miles from Cooperstown, making it easy to explore the area. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The garden behind the inn was lovely, with a stream full of minnows and crayfish.
The room was not clean, with hair on the sheets and a general lack of cleanliness. The innkeeper was uninterested and barely helpful when we complained and even though we got our money back, it was a waste of our time and gas.

Loved the cozy and warm atmosphere during my Christmas stay at this upstate New York B&B. the themed rooms were spotless and appealing, with unique decor reflecting different cultures and countries. the B&B's surroundings were breathtaking, overlooking a serene view of a stream and sculped woods. Being close to amazing golf courses and Glimmerglass Opera House was a bonus. the home-cooked breakfast was delicious, including waffles, muffins, fruit, and cereal.
If anything, we could have used more chairs in the room to relax and lounge around.

Spontaneously decided on a weekend getaway and ended up staying at this cozy inn. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of food. Loved the spacious and charmingly decorated rooms that looked spotless. The inn's key location near popular attractions was a plus. Being able to relax on the back patio and admire the beautiful scenery was definitely a highlight.
The coffee served at breakfast was undrinkable. It was the worst coffee I've ever had.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming inn nestled on a winding country road near Cooperstown. From the moment I arrived, I felt like an old friend being welcomed with open arms. The innkeepers, Joe and Glynis, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The room I stayed in was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. And let me tell you, the backyard of this inn is like a hidden paradise. With a small creek, a waterfall, and vibrant clusters of flowers, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The breakfast served in the common room overlooking the garden was varied and plentiful, with a delicious assortment of muffins, cereal, fruit, and of course. Not to mention, the inn is conveniently located near the Glimmerglas Opera House, making it an excellent choice for opera enthusiasts like myself. Yes, there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the road-facing rooms being accessed only from the porch and some updates/repairs being done in the main room. However, these were easily outweighed by the overall charm and warmth of the inn. I highly recommend this hidden gem of an inn to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Cooperstown area.

I had the most enjoyable stay at this inn in August. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. The highlight for me was the stunning backyard with beautiful gardens and a serene creek. I could spend hours there. I'm already planning on returning next year. The hospitality provided by Joe was exceptional and made our stay even more memorable.
